Gorges was contacted in the summer of 2007 to develop a cutting-edge social network and social bookmark web site. After a discovery period, we began programming in early 2008 and rolled out new features throughout 2008 and 2009.

Straight Line Performance Solutions

Gorges built a suite of web-based tools for Straight Line Performance Solutions that help business decision makers use statistical and analytical methods more easily. The Gorges team worked with Straight Line and created an interactive, desktop-style application that allows users to create solutions and generate graphical reports with a click of the button, as well as share and work with others.

Student Agencies Inc.

Gorges was contracted by Student Agencies Inc. to re-design their web site and display their many different offered services. The Gorges team created a top web site as well as putting in a content management system for easily extending the site for their diverse businesses.

Momentum Media

Momentum Media, the lead publisher of athletic magazines hired Gorges in 2008. The Gorges team created an open-source newsletter package and ad server to track subscribers and their actions. Gorges also integrated a content management system (Moveable Type) for Momentum Media.

Cornell Cooperative Extension's Netway

Gorges was hired to create software for activity and program planning as well as evaluation. Gorges' solution connects program planners, participants and researchers to effectively disseminate scientific knowledge into practice.

Cornell Facilities Document Archive

Cornell has a comprehensive archive of all schematics, blue prints, construction drawings and records. Gorges was hired to create processes to scrub their data and move it into a new Oracle database, as well as building a web 2.0 management application for more than a century of archived data.

Cornell Outdoor Education

Gorges is an all-around IT solution for Cornell Outdoor Education. We assist with their websites, back-end systems, and help manage projects undertaken by student employees.

Polo Training Foundation

PTF needed a web site that reflected their goal of bringing the game of polo to adults and young people all over the United States. Gorges re-designed their web site and created a smooth, bold web site with places to interact (such as the "ask the umpire" area), a content management system to allow for site administrator to easily make changes and updates, as well as action filled photography.

Concept Systems Global

Concept Systems facilitates group collaboration and communication through "concept mapping", which takes the input of a group on issues and creates concensus in the form of Concept Maps. Gorges a created web-based project management and data collection system. The system has Web 2.0 drag-and-drop sorting, a user interface for statement sorting, rating, input and data collection. Project are managed through a custom content management system and multi-language capabilities enable use by participants around the world.

Curriculum Database for ICSD

The Ithaca City School District hired Gorges to finish creating a database program. This program enables teachers to search for lesson plans and then re-use them in the classroom setting.

Cayuga Press

Cayuga Press already had the graphic design for their website. So Gorges integrated a content management system, a business card generator, a system for order entry and a template system, and more.

Earthsense

Gorges created an amazing design and website for the for Earthsense. The Gorges team also added a content management system for managers and a slick PDF report generator.

Lexington Horse

Gorges was hired by an equestrian online retailer in to create a web site that organized her inventory and displayed clearly and beautifully. The Gorges team created a beautiful e-commerce site for her with a clean and effective design.

Wetlands and Wildlife Scenic Byway

Gorges, in collaboration with Fermata, Inc, created a stunning website using CSS, Javascript, and flash for Barton County, Kansas. The website includes content management for events, comments, and photos, and interactive maps and audio tours.

eVetDiagnostics

The staff of Veterinary Multi-Imaging, a veterinary radiograph reading service had too many cases and paperwork for the staff to handle, so Gorges stepped in and moved their service completely online. Gorges created large image management software (for DICOM images) and built auxilliary desktop access programs using C++.

International Educational Exchange Services

Gorges was hired by IEES to completely overhaul and redesign IEES's website. The Gorges team created a web site for members-only as well as putting in a content management system behind the new public website.

Ithaca High School Alumni Association

Gorges had an opportunity to help their local community, and stepped up by creating a pro-bono social networking site for IHSAA and integrating google maps to allow alumni to find each other and connect using modern social media techniques.

Kidfresh

Gorges was given a graphic design for the Kidfresh website by NYC designers Landers Miller. From there Gorges rendered the design and created all the CSS, Javascript, HTML and all other programming for the site.

MyTeamBook

Gorges was retained in 2008 to create a e-commerce web site which would allow customers to order and create custom books of their own photography.

NY Forest Link

Gorges was approached by The New York Forest Owners Association to find a way to connect sellers of New York's forest products to a worldwide audience. Gorges created a Web 2.0 site integrated with Google Maps that allows you to find sellers of multiple products across multiple counties in New York.

Ongweoweh's NativeTrax

Gorges was called in by Ongweoweh in 2006 and since then has been supporting and developing their application, NativeTrax, that tracks and manages constantly moving inventory shipping platforms, mostly pallets. The application tracks assets, and manages rebates and gets input from many users including manufacturers and distributors.

Orono High School Alumni Association

OHSAA tasked the Gorges team with creating a social networking web site that would keep the alumni connected and in contact. Gorges quickly deployed a web site for OHSAA where members can upload photos to the gallery, pay their dues, find and search for classmates, participate on forums and find classmates through Google Maps integrated into the web site.

The Plantsmen Nursery

In 2006 the new owner, Dan Segal contacted Gorges to create a top-notch website to accompany the business he was buying. Gorges created a beautiful new web site design as well as crafting a perfectly-fitting content management system for easy site administration.

TChing Store

Gorges created a modern design e-commerce web site that fit with TChing.com. The website has a clean and fresh form of the site helps convey the feelings of the products.

Alpacas in the USA!

In 2007 Gorges was asked to re-build Alpacas in the USA's website completely. Gorges re-designed the website and build powerful membership functionality. We added on a clean new Web 2.0 interface to maintain better member web pages and created the ability to list and sell alpacas from the website.

AmysBabies

Gorges worked with two other companies, The Happy Corp. and 1over0 Technology to create this site. Gorges built and customized the shopping cart of AmysBabies using the industry leading zen-cart e-commerce system.

Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport

On of our very first projects as a company was to re-design our local airport's website, integrating a 3rd party service for ticket reservations and making it easy for airport administrators to update the site.
