Position: Entry-level web designer and developer

GORGES, a growing web design and development firm located in the heart of downtown, has an opening for the right candidate to jump in on many interesting tasks for our client projects.
We are looking for someone with a variety of skills in web design and programming, including some of the following:
- website development skills
- web design
- programming in php, ruby, or flash
- XHTML / CSS / Javascript coding
- fireworks, photoshop, illustrator
- client support, including content updates and training
- logo / brand / identity design
- testing / quality assurance on our systems
This position is appropriate for someone with 1-3 years of web design and development experience. Our initial need is for a contractor/freelancer. There are many growth and learning opportunities with this position, and great work will not go unrewarded.
Work at your office or ours. Permanent employment a possibility. (Must be able to meet and work most of the time in Ithaca, NY)
