Position: Web Developer
Ithaca-based GORGES has an immediate need of a rock-star programmer to join our rapidly-growing technology team. We design, develop, host and support cutting-edge transactional web applications and cool online businesses that are built on open source or Microsoft technologies. If you love this work as much as we do, and have experience developing online systems, then we should talk.
Check out this job:
- Be a guru in at least one of these: .NET, C#, Cold Fusion, PHP, Ruby on Rails
- Advanced CSS and Javascript (AJAX), XML / XHTML
- Database experience (SQL Server, MySQL, or other databases)
- Ability to code to written specifications as part of a team
- Good communications skills
- Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns
- Linux and/or Microsoft hosting setups
This position can be contract or full time. Most of your work time will be in our Ithaca, NY offices, but occasionally working from home is OK.
