GORGES at Celebration 2011

John Sammis (GORGES) and Don Ellis (GORGES) attended the Entrepreneurship@Cornell sponsored Celebration 2011 on April 14 and 15. This was their second year attending and it was as inspiring as the first.

Harris Rosen, the keynote speaker, led us through his adventure begun by buying a failing hotel for $20,000 in 1974 and turning that start into owning seven hotels, one having 1,500 rooms. The best part is how he now uses that momentum to salvage rundown adjacent neighborhoods while keeping the residents in place.

On a smaller scale, we were thoroughly entertained and inspired by the presentations of twelve entrepreneurial student groups.

Every month a few start-ups find our door at GORGES. We are able to work with some of them and it is some of the most satisfying work we do.

Send GORGES Help to someone

If you know someone who might benefit from our services and are willing to be a reference, we will credit you with $450.00 toward work on your website or application if they sign up for any of our software development services.

That $450.00 is enough to add a well-tuned Google map to your website or an email signup feature. Two good leads, $900.00, add up to some pretty significant updates.

Content update would be a labor-saving use of the $450.00 and what website would not be better off for using the $450.00 for Web Marketing?

Details, ideas, requests, just ask Don Ellis, +1 (607) 273-3828. I am always glad to talk with you. You may use the Contact Form on our website to send us leads.
