NeighborWorks® America is a non-profit organization that creates opportunities for people to live in affordable homes, improve their lives and strengthen their communities. Their Stable Communities initiative is a national response to the local challenges that arise when foreclosed homes remain vacant or abandoned.

NeighborWorks® America approached Gorges in October of 2009
with a request to:

re-design the home page to make it cleaner, more aesthetically appealing, and focused on the important concepts
re-design the internal pages to provide for cleaner presentation of the content and a simpler navigation through the site
restructure the Drupal Content Management System to make it simpler to add new and edit existing content
migrate the content from the old site into the new site
create and implement a unique design for the Responsible Stabilization section that makes it stand out as a special component of the overall site
provide a stable hosting service
and, make all of this happen in about 2 months.

The Gorges team of a designer, engineer, programmer and project manager worked closely with NeighborWorks and their consultants to devise a workable project plan that could meet the project's goals and timeframe. Several days before a key conference, and on the day promised to the client, the site was up and running.
